Teenage Depression
Depression at any age is considered as the serious problem and should never be taken lightly. Teenage depression is not merely due to bad moods or rare morose and if left untreated may lead to serious problems both at home and school, drug abuse, self-hatred or even irremediable catastrophe like killer or suicidal instinct. Why take that risk when teenage depression can well be treated?
There are various misconceptions prevailing about teenage depression. But mind you that teens is of course the tougher phase of age. Teens can well balance their attitudes in good friendships or through success at school or other outdoor activities while developing the strong sense of self esteem. Rare bad moods or ill manner outside is still expectable during this phase of age.
Depressive state in the teenage may cause serious problems such as: causing an irresistible sense of melancholy, torment or frustration. It is better one should study the signs and symptoms of teenage depression like: grief or despair, tetchiness, fury, aggression, tearfulness or recurrent crying, withdrawal from friends or family, loss of interest in activities, changed eating or sleeping habits, impatience or agitation, guilt feeling, inspiration lacking, tiredness or energy deficiency, difficulty concentrating or suicidal or dying thoughts.
