STEROIDS AND ITS ORIGIN
The pioneers in the field of steroid use in the Olympics were mainly by the Germans and the Soviets in the early 20th Century. Germany especially used to pump a lot of money into the research and analysis. They had the biggest collection of information on research and analysis that any other country could collect. Germany though being a small country competed with countries like the Soviet and the USA and won so many medals to dominate the sports arena both in the Olympics and other world championships.
In 1982 the International Olympics Council decide the ban the use of steroids in started what was called as Testosterone: Epitestosterone test to detect the levels of Testosterone in the blood of the athletes. If the Testosterone reaches to the level of 6x or goes more than that then the athlete is tested positive of steroids.
Over the years as the technology improved there steroids there lasted for a a very short time and would leave the body completely and thus the Testosterone test would prove negative of steroids.
There were government-sponsored programs of Germany for providing top class steroids to the athletes. These Steroids were so advanced that they went undetected for many years.
Talking about the steroids there are some steroids that are legal to be used in the international games. Anavar and Anadrol steroids are the most commonly used in the Olympics. These are very mild and are less harmful to the human body. They help in increasing the energy and strength.
